「僕はね、バイオとかFFとかアクションやRPGばっかりやってるって誤解されてるんだけど 　そうじゃないんだな。実はウイイレも大好きなゲームの１つだね。 サッカーの事は詳しくなかったんだけど 　ウイイレをやるに当たっては相当勉強したねぇ。うん、もう相当に。サッカー雑誌は紀伊国屋に置いてある 　モノを根こそぎ買ってきて、選手やら、フォーメーションやらを叩き込んだよ。 　でもね、ウイイレって最初にチームエディットって言ってユニフォームやらエンブレムやらを 　自分で作る事が出来るんだけど、この作業に 　３日間徹夜しちゃってさ（笑）。流石に女房から怒られたよ。サッカーゲームなのに買って 　最初の１週間はサッカーしてないんだぜ（笑）」
